Bullying Prevention Town Meetings to become TV Special
Highmark Healthy High 5 and WTAE have held Town Meetings on bullying in three school districts in the Pittsburgh area. Parents, teachers, and adults who were bullied as children attended to ask the expert panelists questions and to learn how to support their children. On December 13, WTAE will broadcast the one-hour special, Take the Time. Talk to Your Kids. Tackle Bullying. at 7:00 pm hosted by Sally Wiggin and Sheldon Ingram. Town Meetings in Mt. Lebanon, Mars, and the Pittsburgh Public Schools will make up the special which will focus on how to talk with your kids if they’ve been bullied, if they are bullies, and how the bystander can help the bullying victim. The program will be repeated on Sunday, December 14 at 1:00 pm on WTAE.
